Weather

Yesterday was a perfect September day. It was sunny and not too hot, and a cool wind whisked through the almost-crisp air as though it was shooing the August heat away.

I couldn't bear to stay inside, so I chose to forgo dinner preparations in favor of escaping to the playground with the kids. I spread out a blanket, and while Everett and Ashley played, William and I basked in this marvelous summer-is-going-away weather.

I think we all enjoyed it.
